School Teaching Behavior

Cool tools are one-page lesson plans that assist staff to teach students the school-wide behavioral expectations.  Cool Tools are used to teach students procedures for non-classroom areas (e.g. Give Me Five, Lining Up, Quiet Halls, etc.) The following resources were created by classroom teachers for their schools.

In regards to teaching family expectations, using the process of defining why an expectation/behavior is important, teaching examples, practicing through activities or role-plays and providing reinforcement is an effective approach to providing your child information, clarity, practice and reward of desired behaviors.
